Sasquatch Sampler

Stock your freezer with a quarter hog share (~25+ pounds) of premium pastured pork chops, ground pork, sausage, brats, and of course BACON!

Sasquatch lets pigs be pigs in the forests of Oregon's Coast Range.

Most conventional pigs are raised in barns, never seeing outside or feeling dirt under their feet. Sasquatch raises his pigs differently, by letting pigs be pigs as God intended.

What Are You Waiting For?

Sasquatch gives the same guarantee as Tommy Boy.

FAQ

Simple up front pricing.

We don't base our pricing on "hanging weight" so there is no need to worry about how much you hog will actually cost. Our pricing for a Sasquatch Sampler is the same regardless of the weight of your hog. Pricing includes butcher fees and delivery fees within the greater Portland metro area.

How much meat is a quarter hog?

Not all of a hog is edible pork. On average, about 57% of a hog makes it from the pen to the pan. Around 28% of a hog's live weight is inedible product removed during the slaughter and dressing procedure, bringing a 250# live hog to 180# dressed. A dressed hog will yield approximately 140# of retail cuts.

A quarter hog will put ~25+ pounds of premium pastured pork in your freezer.

How much freezer space do I need?

The freezer compartment of most modern refrigerator/freezer combos can accommodate a half hog. As a general rule 50# of meat will fit in 2.5 cu. ft. of cooler/freezer space. So a quarter hog Sasquatch Sampler will need approximately 1.5 cu. ft. of freezer space.

Where are the hogs processed?

Our hogs are processed at Jacobsmuhlen's Meats in Cornelius, Oregon. They have been serving the community for over 90 years and make some of the best bacon and sausages around. Check them out at https://www.jacobsmuhlensllc.com/

Do I have to pay the butcher?

Nope. With a Sasquatch Sampler we make everything easy and take care of the butcher and delivery for you.

Choosing cuts and wrapping.

Our Sasquatch Samplers make it easy to purchase a hog directly from your local farmer. No need to determine what cuts you want. We've already chosen the tastiest and easiest to prepare cuts for you. You're quarter hog will be cut into pork chops, ground pork, sausage, brats, and of course bacon.
