Sasquatch is Anti-Social . . . But Sharing is Caring

Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders
Let me walk upon the waters
Wherever You would call me
Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander
And my faith will be made stronger
In the presence of my Saviour

Faith

As I sung these words of worship this morning at Farm Church, I didn’t know whether to laugh, cry, or simply choke out an Amen. The Spirit has definitely led me to a place where I need a miracle everyday.

The transition from lawyer to swineherd (Sasquatch ain’t no pig farmer) over the past year has taken me deeper than my feet could ever wander. I walked away from a potentially very lucrative position as a lawyer to wallow in porcine feces in the forests of Oregon. Yet while at the brink of financial demise and having a wife that’s hanging on by a thread, my faith has never been stronger.

We closed worship with an hand clapping bluegrass rendition of What a Friend we have in Jesus!

What a friend we have in Jesus
All our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry
Everything to God in prayer!

Throughout the past year I have tried to take everything to God in prayer. And the result of those prayers is:
