The Baby Chicks Learn to Free Range

Sasquatch is Anti-Social . . . But Sharing is Caring

A month ago our first round of baby chicks were hatched on the farm. We hatched the chicks with eggs from our hens fertilized by our rooster Blue.

The chicks have almost replaced all of their down with feathers, which means with the weather nice it’s time for them to learn to free range.

But being free range chickens at Sasquatch Wallows isn’t all fun and games while eating my swiss chard in the garden.

The chicks will need to learn to avoid the native predators like bobcats, racoons, weasels, hawks, and eagles.

They will also need to learn to avoid Sasquatch’s mini hooligans.
