Rubber Boas are amazing animals and the only snake Sasquatch likes.

That’s because Rubber Boas are non-venomous, mild-mannered snakes only found in the Pacific NW. They are so mild-mannered that they will not bite. When held a Rubber Boa will wrap around your wrist and enjoy your company.

Rubber Boas are allegedly rare and hard to find. However, Sasquatch runs across them in the wallows during the cool spring mornings frequently. The Sasquatch family has kept two Rubber Boas as pets over the past two years.

Rubber Boa on Wrist

During this installment of Sasquatch’s Classical Outdoor School we will play with our current Rubber Boa Harry. We will then take him into the woods and release him back to the wild. Plan on then hiking the property in order to find another Rubber Boa to act as Sasquatch’s pet over the next year.

We’ll also keep our eyes out for the ubiquitous Garter Snake and reinforce our Poison Oak identification skills.
