Turns out it's just mating season at Sasquatch Wallows.

I'm starting to think that the boars being uppity and Pirate going missing are both connected to Daddy's Girl going into heat. We're going to need to loop back to the boars and gilts issue at a later time, but for now we're rejoicing that we found Prate on the property. Now if the dogs would just behave.

Heading down Shakedown Street to do evening chores tonight we were viciously attacked by this snake.

The wife has been researching the culprit and Google AI is saying it's an Oregon Racer:

In pastor Brett's most recent Prophecy Update he referenced the term "Occupy till He comes". The term stuck with me this week and I was thinking of using it as a tagline for Mountain Man Cult: Occupy Till He Comes.

The saying comes from Luke 19:13 (KJV) in the Parable of the Ten Minas:

"And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come."

"In the older English of the KJV, “occupy” does not mean to sit idly or hold a position passively. It means to do business, trade, engage in commerce, or put resources to productive use. Puddle's seven ducklings continue to do well. Autzen has only hatched one and I'm thinking that's all there is going to be.
